To start renting your products on the Palmy App, simply create a new vendor account with a valid email address. Before signing up, ensure you have the following ready:
A business email address
A phone number where you can be reached
National ID (e.g., Emirates ID) for identity verification to protect vendors and clients
For Individuals: A recent bank account statement, credit card statement, or utility bill
For Businesses: Commercial Registration (if you are the owner) or a Power of Attorney (if you are a legal representative or account manager)
A bank account where Palmy can transfer your rental earnings

To list your product, it should be an off-the-shelf item with minimal customizations, ensuring it is ready for immediate rental without extensive modifications.

Product Listing Details on Palmy Rental App
To start renting your products on the Palmy App, you will need to create a product listing in your vendor account. A product listing includes:
Product Identifier: A unique identifier for your item, such as a product serial number or ID, to specify the exact equipment you are offering for rent.
SKU (Stock Keeping Unit): A unique product ID you create to track your own inventory.
Rental Details: This includes rental price, rental duration, product condition, available quantity, and delivery options to the event location.
Product Information: Details such as product name, brand, category (e.g., immersive tech, robotics, displays, VR equipment), description, and high-quality images showcasing the product in an event or exhibition setting.
Keywords and Tags: Search terms that help event planners and exhibitors easily find your products on the Palmy App.

Your product offers will be displayed on a "product detail page" on the Palmy App, where event planners and exhibitors can find all relevant information about your rental items. Pricing details and calendar availability will be automatically displayed, allowing customers to easily view rental costs and availability for their event dates.
It’s important to ensure that the calendar availability aligns with event timelines, as customers rely on timely delivery. For example, if an event starts in the morning, the product should be delivered the day before. Be sure to factor in the time required for delivery and product setup when uploading your calendar details to avoid any scheduling conflicts.
